Day 5. Waffle Flower Blog Hop & Giveaway

I created two cards for the Waffle Flower’s Christmas in July Release and is available today-ish!

The second I laid eyes on this little “Holly Bird” my heart sang! He was sooo fun to watercolor and super easy using the Karin watercolor markers.

Using the matching die cut I opted for a shaped card. One snip on the bottom of the paper on the back of the card gave the card stability.

How gorgeous are these Poinsettia bouquets! Swoon!! Honestly they were easy to paint. Again I used the Karin markers scribbling the color on my palette and using my paint brush to pick up the color to paint. I did not use the marker directly on the paper today sometimes I do.

The Poinsettia die cuts can be essential for lots of dimension and the set is also available as a combo set.

Adding a little bit of black really makes the pink petals pop.

Behind the scenes crafting away from my studio and the family milling about made it a slightly difficult to get the job done. However, I am not complaining it’s always awesome when our adult children want to be with us.

Meet the “Classic Frames” and they are exactly that …CLASSIC! Such great sizes and shapes for a pop of color or a sentiment on your cards.
