Hello Friends, How is everyone? When you think the world can’t get any crazier it can! I hope you all are safe and adjusting to life. With Covid, these hurricanes and fires all I do is worry about everyone.
Gina K. Designs showcased her new release last week and I finally took some time to play with this beautiful stamp set.
I am super excited to bring you a video sharing my process.
I just wasn’t able to get the nose or the mouth right and you can see how I accomplished that in my video. Watch it here on YouTube.
Gina K. Designs “Grow Positive Thoughts” is such a beautiful and cool stamp set! The face can be colored easily or you can challenge yourself to add a nose and or mouth. I also drew shoulders and stamped the flowers that sit on her head onto her shirt.
This is my nose and mouth before I found my book on Jane Davenport called “Beautiful Faces”.
She was colored on and off over the course of two days & late nights.
Drawing these mesh details or lacy details take patience but, I love having the opportunity to get creative.
The flowers were colored the same way with markers first then the layers of pencils begin. Many of you have asked what pencils I like best and depending on the color I use several different brands. You can see them in the supply list.
Nice to see you all! Sending love, hugs and prayers your way. Kathy

I don’t use my Gorjuss little girl stamps because I think they are creepy without full faces. I tried looking for examples on how others fill them in, but not many people do. I’ll keep trying to figure something out. Thanks for this inspiration.

Your comment about you having bags under your eyes, I think I’ve got to stage where I have bags with a peep of eyes on top now with all 2020 stress that’s going on.
