IF you haven’t already checked out the Penny BLOG I think you will want to especially today. There is many mini cards to tickle your mojo. I used a CHRISTMAS stamp and turned it into an every day stamp.
This is one of the new Penny Black stamps that I fell love with. If you don’t like to color this stamp is good for you. It’s a quick and easy to color or you can paper piece it. When I stamped her for the Birthday girl I simply wiped off the Santa hat with a wet wipe. Then I took a fine black magic marker and drew on the top of her hair. Anyone can do it I promise. Just make dots in lots of dark colors for a fauz lepard fur.
I thought you might like to know how I did the blue background.
Use the lightest Copic color that you have. (I used B0000) Put my tip almost next to the black outline and flick the color away from the line sort of like you are sweeping with a broom. You lay the broom down then push away lifting up the tip.
Then you want to take the next color ( I used B000 or BOO)
All you do is trace around the image. Sorry for the yellow in the photo. I use a small light booth and it doesn’t like white.
I needed to make two quick cards for my son and nephew that are away at college and this is what I came up with.
I hope this info was helpful and thanks for letting me share with you. I am going out of town this weekend and have so much to do. I hope you have some fun plans on the horizon. Hugs, Kathy

I love the way you transformed the girl stamp! Did you mask the stamp when you inked it, so that the hat didn’t stamp? And you hand-drew the top of the head? Brilliant!
and thanks for sharing the tip about the blue background. It adds so much depth to the card.
