DAY 25. Papertrey Ink Giveaway

Hello Friends, How is your week going? Today I have another BIG GIVEAWAY for you from Papertrey Ink. How exciting right! More on that later. 🙂

The black line prevails today. I did some experimenting and tried a few other things but, I always go back to my black line. This one imagine coloring is called spotlight coloring.

Using Papertrey Ink’s Doodlie-Do stamp I added some of my own doodles using a super fine marker.

I stamped the flowers in a grey ink on white paper then some grey paper with black ink.

Here is the grey ink with white paper colored with copics.

I was surprised how bright the colors when I colored on some grey cardstock. I spent to much time trying these different combos and assembling a few cards but, it wasn’t the look I loved.

Here are the colors I used. If you don’t have this stamping blotter grid pad I highly recommend it. When I used a combo that I like I will be cutting some color keys to use for future use.

    Hello! And I love how you tried two different ideas to see how they work. I guess my favorite is the black ink with the bright colors and the white spots add a lot to the appearance. And I love this set. I have tried stamping and adding lines so I can color but this stamp set does it all for you. I would certainly enjoy it because I love coloring. Thanks so much for sharing.     Hello, Hola, Hi, did I come up with enough ways to say hi? I’ll think of more! LOL Oh my gosh! This set is amazing, plus, it is so me! If I had this set I could use it on the new laundry bag I have to get my sister. I bought her one on Amazon for Christmas and Zentangled it and my sister was really rough with it. There is a huge hole in it! She had to throw it away. I would so use all those colors too because that’s so me, just like it’s so you. If it was up to me I’d look like all the colors of the rainbow and more all the time! I love what you did and I so want to try it! I know I could come up with something as creative as yours if not more. Can you please let me try?

    Such a pretty card, Kathy. I have been eyeing this stamp set. It’s so fun and playful, as your card also shows. I’m hoping Mr. Random will call out my name. I could surely use a bit of good news right now. Yesterday, we heard that my husband urgently needs surgery. We need to go back to the hospital some time next week (probably Thursday/Friday) to speak to the specialist again (and the surgeon). At least the specialist is telling us to be optimistic. 😉

    Gorgeous card! I have coveted this set ever since Susan Raihala at Simplicity and the OLS Challenge showcased it in a multi post !!! I use Evernote for saving sources of inspiration and I have saved so many card ideas with DoodlieDoo that I gave it its own tag so I can find them all at a single click. Needless to say that your beautiful card will be added immediately 🙂 I just need to buy the dang set but $24 is way more than I normally spend on a set and the crafting budget can be stretched further if I spend it on other brands. Oh, but I do love all you can do with this set. Great examples Kathy!

    First…Hello. Second….Thank you so much for all the coloring tips. I love Copics since I’m not really talented and mistakes are easy to “fix” with Copics vs. other markers I’ve tried. I absolutely love your coloring techniques and the samples today are really pretty.
