Hello Friends! How are you? Did you have a nice weekend? I just wanted to pop in and share this sweet stamp set from a newish stamp company called Honey Bee Scraps. More on the giveaway later.
Have you seen the “Ball” jars in stores that have been painted inside? They are more colorful and are more opaque. That’s the look I was going for today.
Sorry for this bad photo but, I really wanted for you to see the before I gave it one pop & used a stencil.
I stamped the flowers, used this masking paper and stamped the flowers two more times to fill up the ball jar. So fun!
Stencils always add so much to a background don’t ya think? Tim Holtz has some great stencils with small designs that I love.
I colored and cut one more flower to add that pop on my “one” layer card.

Was wondering if blending a hybrid chalk ink into the Ball jar would have made it just a tad more opaque. I think you nailed the look however the way you did it. Miss you. ~M~

HoneyBee Scraps is new to me too, will have to check out their site. I love the simple stenciled background. Sometimes I stress so much on getting the perfect paper to layer or whatever, that I never get the project done. This way, easy peasy!

I just love how the background is made. It’s such a faux way to make it fill all that empty background space! LOVE the look!!

The Flip Flops card worked out really well! Love the Wink of Stella on them. That touch of red really worked on the hibiscus. I thought ” what is she doing?” But you’re right on again. It really made them look amazing! I think you ARE an artist.
